Douglas Premier PPS-22SQ Portable Pickleball Net System
The Douglas Premier PPS-22SQ Portable Pickleball Net System is the closest you can get to a permanent net’s durability and quality without having to deal with the expense of drilling and pouring concrete. It was developed for use at the beautiful Indian Wells Tennis Garden for the 2018 USA Pickleball National Championships. This net is a great option for clubs that already have courts for other sports like tennis and want to add pickleball to their offerings. This system is easy to assemble and uses an internally wound gear mechanism to lock each piece into place. The posts are 3” wide and made with an 11-gauge stainless steel finished with a polyester powder coat to help resist rust.Top players note that the Douglas Net appears and performs like a permanent net system. The rigidity of the net structure supports the heavy-duty net cable that can be tightened to an equivalent tension to a permanent net system. This tension, combined with the mass of the steel net cable and heavy-duty netting and top strap, result in balls tipping off the top net-cord in the same way they do on permanent nets. Net-cord tension on typical portable pickleball nets is under 20 pounds. Net-cord tension on the Douglas Premier Pickleball Net System is closer to true permanent net tension of 400-500 pounds.
At 215 lbs the Douglas Premier PPS-22SQ Portable Pickleball Net System has considerable heft, but thanks to the end wheel assembly you can maneuver it around your court as needed. The Net System sits on its frame structure. The net's weight is distributed over 360 square inches. It never exerts more than 1 PSI on the court surface. It can be used on both indoor and outdoor surfaces and is weather treated for year-round use, however we recommend you store it indoors during off season for a prolonged life. Stabilizer legs on both sides of the net improve safety for players. The net comes with a Velcro center strap to meet the 34” center height regulation. This product has a warranty of 1 year for the net frame and 4 years for the net.

Heavy-duty base frame is also constructed of 11-gauge 3” square steel and 3-1/2” square 3/16” heavy-wall steel.
