The 16mm polypropylene honeycomb core, which is thicker than the Challenger and similar to the 16mm Pro, offers the vibration dampening and sweet spot expansion that we would expect from a paddle with a control tagline.

While we still may not be able to hit the shots that earned Andre Agassi his fame and success, the JOOLA Andre Agassi Edge 16mm Edge Pickleball Paddle sure does its best to help us try with a 7.5”-wide textured carbon fiber hitting surface. This surface teams up with the aforementioned core to enhance linger time and grip the ball, allowing us to impart spin that keeps our opponents off balance and our shots between the lines. For a little extra power, JOOLA included a SF sheet between the core and hitting surface that adds pop without hurting linger time. Toss in the 5.5” handle that leaves plenty of room for a second hand and you have a paddle that certainly lives up to its lofty name.
