At the center of this powerful paddle is a 14mm (0.55") carbon fiber SSTCore. To engineer max power, Gearbox suspended the vertical carbon structures in the middle of paddle, allowing them to return energy to the ball and impart spin as well, very much like the strings of a tennis racquet. This breakthrough core design also mitigates the negative effects of mis-hits, and minimizes impact vibrations which can travel up your arm and aggrivate muscle and joint issue. But make no mistake, this paddle was engineered to deliver eye-popping power.

The PRO Power Elongated Paddle from Gearbox Pickleball continues the theme of power with elongated 16.5" by 7-3/8" overall proportions, raw Toray T-700 carbon fiber hitting surface, and 5.5" long handle with plenty of room for two-handed drives. When near the net the elongated shape promotes reach, while the slim profile and 8.0 oz static weight enable quick hands and post-contact recovery to ready position. To augment your spin game, the rough T-700 face imparts nasty rotation on cuts and slices to keep your opponents guessing. This texture is not a peel-ply approach on top of the face material, Gearbox's TXR Surface Grip Technology IS the face material so you can be assured the texture will be very long-lasting.

Finally, Gearbox has engineered "quiet tech" into their PRO models which emits a lower decibel sound upon impact. This is perfect for noise-restricted communities, disguises the power behind your shots, and will one of the first details you notice which set this paddle apart from many others.
