The power in this paddle starts with, and comes predominately from, the 14mm (0.55") suspended carbon fiber SST Core. Like the control paddles in the PRO line, this core consists of carbon tubes which expand the sweet spot, limit vibrations, and deliver impressive energy return back to the ball. The major difference in the Power variations of Gearbox's PRO paddles is that the core is unattached (or "suspended") from the edges. This allows it to rebound substantially more, adding pop and power to well struck shots and mis-hits alike.

With all of the power packed into the core of the PRO Power Intergra paddle, it needs some control-oriented attributes to help you harness it. Enter the 16" by 7-3/8" overall proportions, and Toray T-700 raw carbon fiber face. Gearbonx's TXR Surface Grip Technology builds the roughness of the face material into the mold of the paddle, so the texture is sure to be long-lasting (unlike many paint-grit approaches). The surface material under this texture is extremely rigid, to compress the ball, adding dwell time for added control and a surprising degree of power during hands battles near the net. The 5-1/2" long handle allows you to wield all of this power with two hands if needed, and even works to add just a little more swing speed.
